What’s the difference between Traditional Microneedling and RF Microneedling?
Traditional microneedling uses a device that creates micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body’s own healing response to start producing collagen and elastin. This is what tightens the skin to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, etc. RF Needling adds the element of radio frequency to the device so that the effects you get from regular microneedling are now more deeply penetrated into your skin’s inner layers for quicker, and more dramatic results.
Secret RF HF Treatment Precautions
1. Before the procedure
– Avoid procedure if you are allergic to metals
– In some cases when sebum is clogged, small comedo can occur
2. After the procedure
– You may experience transient erythema on the treated areas for 6 hours initially. According to the skin condition and symptoms, redness and swelling can last for up to 3 days.
– Face washing and taking a shower are advisable one day after the treatment
– Wearing a light makeup is okay after transient erythema disappears
– Continue to apply moisturizing cream and skin renewal cream
– Even if fine brown crusting occurs occasionally, avoid picking or rubbing the crusting to avoid damaging the skin
– Be sure to apply sunscreen as UV light may cause pigmentation.
– It is recommended to avoid swimming, sauna, and excessive exercise for about a week after the procedure.
– Do not use hot water or excessively rub your face when washing your face.
